While it's unfortunate our population is terribly obese and overweight, it creates an extraordinary opportunity for you to help people and earn a great living changing lives. Following just some of these simple tips will allow you to earn more money in less time while reaching more people with the message of fitness.
1) Run Weight-Management programs
Whether you like it or not there is an entire segment of the population who currently has no desire to exercise. They would much rather lose weight by altering their eating habits.
So it's important to learn lessons from the success of businesses such as Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig. By enrolling people into a Weight-Management program, which educates them on how to make correct nutritional choices, you have opportunities you wouldn't otherwise. Your students will be inspired by you to make further progress by adding a fitness program to further their results. Additionally, you reach a market segment that otherwise would have escaped you!
2) Enroll clients in a nutritional products auto-ship program
Right now there is a completely unqualified clerk at a "vitamin store" who is selling nutritional products to your prospects and clients. Are you going to tell me it's OK some high school drop-out earns a commission from product sales but not you?
Your Weight-Management program is the perfect opportunity to educate your students on what products are right for them. It's also the time when you enroll them into an auto-ship program so that you don't have to carry any inventory and they receive a fresh supply of the dietary supplements each month like clockwork. Plus, you receive commissions for as long as the clients are on the program. Talk about passive income!
3) Make much more per hour by running fitness boot camps
Fitness professionals all over the country are leveraging their time by training people in groups. Boot Camps are still red-hot and you have plenty of time to capitalize on the opportunity. Clients love them because they're more affordable than one-on-one training and really fun. You'll love running them because you'll be able to make up to several hundred dollars per hour.
Something else to think about is all the additional time you'll have to grow your business because you can make the same money you used to, but in much less time.
