Bikini Competitor Jen Lawson

I have been very busy over the last 2 years!! Competing has been a lot of work, but I absolutely love it :-) I really enjoy the FAP shows as they are more laid back and fun, but the NPC is great as well and a very different kind of show. I missed a couple of competitions this past fall due to a foot injury, but with well rest I made it to one last show of 2007, the Fitness America Hollywood. It was a great show and I had a lot of fun!

My modeling career has been great, I have had a lot of opportunities to work with some of the best fitness & swimwear photographers! I have been featured in two 2007 calendars and one 2008 calendar. These can be purchased through my website! The great thing about all of the modeling opportunities is the chance to travel to great locations around the world. Nothing beats a great photo shoot on a beautiful beach in the Caribbean :-) I'm thrilled to be lucky enough to have what it takes to be a great model & competitor!

I also started my own Personal Training business, Sleek Physiques in September 2006. This has been great so far, I love helping people reach their fitness goals! I try to make them understand that it is a lifestyle change not a 3 month diet. What you put into is what you will get out of it. I do my part by teaching them the proper way to exercise and eat for their body type. When they leave the gym it is all up to them to decide to stick to it, when they do they see results!!
