If you are going to consume more than one portion of any food item, indulge in foods that have a high protein content with low carbohydrates, sugar and fat contents. 3 Drink plenty of water throughout the day to fill your stomach between meals to prevent overeating and dehydration. 4 Pay attention to nutrition labels found on foods and supplements. Usually, portion sized are misinterpreted and can be a real detriment to a successful weight loss program. 5 Dine in more often.
