Having been the 1998 NPC Ms. Fitness Michigan, and 11th at NPC Jr. Nationals, I have decided to make a 10 year come-back to fitness by competing in a couple Figure contests this fall.

Balance has been my mantra as I have maintained wonderful condition while raising two children as a single mom. Now that they are adults and on their own it's my time to get serious again and focus a bit more on competitive fitness. There is so much I could tell you about the need for changing focus at different points in my life, and how I have found balance throughout those changes.

Since my last titles, I have achieved a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. I have also maintained my fit condition and begun a career in modeling and motivational speaking.

I would love your support in my upcoming venture -- A Decade of Fitness -- where I hope to inspire women of all ages to maintain fitness, while finding balance as they go thru the many changes and challenges of maturing.

Haven't picked a fall show for my 'Decade of Fitness' Figure competition, but plan to enter both an open and a masters division.

I have two adult children (21 and 19 years old). I love to be near the water! I love most active sports!

I was a single parent when I competed before, and I returned to college to obtain my Bachelors in Psychology and my Masters in Social Work (University of Michigan) while my kids were in grade school. We did our homework alongside each other!

I am a die-hard University of Michigan Wolverines football fan! Go BLUE!
